In July Elizabeth was delighted to be asked to present the award of Stonemasonry Student of the Year to Hannah Kendall at Moulton College, Northampton.  This award is given by The Worshipful Company of Masons who encourage the pursuit of excellence in colleges by sponsoring awards for achievement.

The winning student being awarded a £300 tool voucher and an invitation to join the company as a Yeoman.  An excellent tour of their workshops and year end display was given by their inspiring tutor Emma Dexter.

Many of you may know that Elizabeth has long supported women in construction and to be able to present the award to a future female stone mason was a significant moment and one we hope will inspire other female students at the college. Getting recognized in what has always been a male dominated industry can be hard so we were delighted for Hannah to receive this award.
