Welcome to the Team: Anna Webster!

November 3, 2021 | By |

We are delighted to welcome Anna to the Hirst team!

Anna brings a firm belief in the potential of the design and management of the built environment to affect positive change. She actively works to support equality in the construction industry, volunteers with Architects Climate Action Network (ACAN) and is a nationally elected member of the RIBA Council.

As an Architect, Anna has led on a range of refurbishment, arts and community projects. These include the transformation of an abandoned art-deco ABC Cinema into a new performing arts centre for Village Underground in Hackney, the restoration of a Grade II listed shop for The Great Frog in Soho and the conversion of the former Observer Building print works into a mixed-use community facility for White Rock Neighborhood Ventures in Hastings.

The team at Hirst, as conservation professionals, have always believed we are uniquely positioned to promote a sustainable future through extending the lifespan of our built heritage and promoting the use of sustainable materials and techniques.  At this critical time for the planet, we welcome Anna who will help us focus on how we can embed environmental sustainability into our professional activities.

Anna is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and skill set working with heritage buildings and we hope that her experience as an architect will assist us in understanding in depth project requirements and enable greater collaboration across the disciplines.
